[ARCHIVED] South metro chamber releases PTSD video to air on cable

Louis with star photo only 2019

Our friends at the South Metro Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Miami Valley Communication Council have produced a video about a recent PTSD and suicide prevention presentation by Capt. Louis Belluomini and his service dog. His talk last October was inspiring and eye-opening about the challenges our military personnel face when returning home from duty.

We want to pass along several air times for the video, A New Leash on Life, on the Miami Valley Cable Communication Council cable channels 5 and 6, so that you can see this inspiring video:

Channel 5:

Mon., Feb. 17 – 8:30 a.m.

Thur., Feb. 20 – 12:30 p.m.

Sat., Feb. 22 – 7:20 p.m.

Wed., Feb. 26 – 5 a.m.

Sat., Feb. 29 – 10 a.m.

Channel 6:

Mon., Feb. 17 – 7:30 p.m.

Wed., Feb. 19 – 2 p.m.

Sat., Feb. 22 – 8 p.m.

Sun., Feb. 23 – 1 p.m.

Sun., Mar. 1 – 10:20 p.m.

Tues., Mar. 3 – 7:30 a.m.

The chamber is also working to raise funds to purchase a new service dog for a PTSD patient. The dog will be named ‘Dayton’ in tribute to the victims of the Dayton Oregon District tragedy, and all area veterans, police, fire and EMS personnel. Click now for more information about how to donate.
