Hazardous road conditions will delay Rumpke trash and recycling service on Monday, January 6, 2025, in several counties, including Montgomery, which means Miami Township's trash pick up will be delayed at least one day.

From Rumpke Trash & Recycling:

As Winter Storm Blair moves across the country, Rumpke Waste & Recycling Services is working to ensure scheduled collections happen as efficiently and as safely as possible.

Hazardous road conditions will delay Rumpke trash and recycling service on Monday, January 6 in the following areas: Ohio Counties: Adams Brown Clark Clermont Clinton Greene Highland Montgomery

Residents are encouraged to leave material at the curb and crews will attempt to service as soon as possible. “Safety is a top priority for our team,” Safety Manager, Rob Beyrer said. “The freezing temperatures that are predicted for the remainder of the week make our job more dangerous. To help protect our team members from cold-related illnesses and ensure customers still receive timely collection, we must adjust our operations.” Rumpke customers should continue to place material at the curb the night before their scheduled collection.
