[ARCHIVED] Miami Township seeks fiscal officer

Miami Township Fiscal Officer Aaron Newell announced his resignation Friday, December 9, 2022, after seven years of service to the community. He cites the desire to spend more time with his family and professional pursuits in his decision to step away from public office. 

Miami Township now seeks to fill the vacancy of fiscal officer for Miami Township, Montgomery County, Ohio. The appointed person will fulfill the unexpired term ending March 31, 2024.

Eligible candidates must be a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years of age, a resident of the State of Ohio and Miami Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, and a registered voter for at least 30 days prior to the appointment. Interested parties should submit a resume and letter of interest to:

Per Ohio Revised Code §503.24, the township has 30 days to make an appointment.
