Township Administration

The Miami Township Administration Department is responsible for the daily administration of policies and resolutions set forth by the Board of Trustees. It serves as a liaison between trustees and township staff, ensuring a smooth transition of communication among all departments. The township administrator supervises and directs daily government operations and activities within each of five departments, including finance, community development, compliance, public works and police; and assists with oversight of the Miami Valley Fire District.

Daily functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversight of budget
  • Inter-departmental communication and support
  • Liaison between Board of Trustees and township staff
  • Delivery of services and support to residents and businesses
  • Daily office operations
  • Oversight of external communication

The administrative staff is available to assist with any general questions about our services. Our offices are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. We take pride in offering the public personal service. Each phone call is answered promptly by an administrative assistant and directed to the proper location.

Strategic Plan

In our efforts to be more transparent with those we serve, the Board of Trustees and administrators developed a Strategic Plan to provide analysis of accomplishments, challenges, and strategic goals.
