[ARCHIVED] Veterans Breakfast honors township heroes

Veterans Breakfast 2019

Miami Township is honoring the men and women who fought for our country and those who are currently serving in the military. Township trustees, administrators and staff wish to salute you at the 12th annual Veterans Breakfast on Friday, November 8, 2019. You must RSVP by November 4! Here's how:

Miami Township 12th annual Veterans Breakfast Ceremony

Friday, November 8, 2019 at 8 a.m.

Location: MVFD Station 51, 10899 Wood Road


Please RSVP by calling (937) 433-9969 or email ncullen@miamitownship.com. Please give us your name, number of people attending and branch of service in which you served/serve. If you have someone you feel deserves special recognition, let us know.


This year's ceremony includes special guest and keynote speaker, Mr. Chris Stanley, of the Fisher-Nightingale House. There are two houses at Wright-Patterson AFB and the newest house is located at the Dayton VA Medical Center. The Fisher-Nightingale House is a 'home away from home' for families of veterans and active duty service members who are receiving medical care at the Dayton VA Medical Center or the WPAFB Medical Center. It provides lodging that includes all the comforts of home.

Scratch Caterers will once again provide a delicious hot breakfast. The Dayton Christian School choir will perform, and township trustees will honor several veterans with a special recognition.
